The BASH is the annual convention of the Boston Star Trek Association, Inc. The first BASH was an invitational party. Between the 1985 and 1986 conventions, for financial reasons, the BASH was set up as a separate corporation wholly owned by the Boston Star Trek Association. It was reabosrbed back into BSTA in 1991. BSTA celebrated its tenth anniversary at the 1983 Bash.
